When Jochem and Sjoerd became first-time fathers in 2013, they found out that baby care was full of harmful ingredients. That had to change, they thought, and so Naïf was born.
Vulnerable baby skin doesn't need much, and certainly not junk. That's why Naïf products are made with ingredients of natural origin and without mineral oils, SLES and microplastics. So better for the skin and has less impact on the planet.
Adults also became big fans of our products, which is why we expanded our range. Because you too deserve loving care without worries.

Our mission
As you can see, we've had quite a journey. With lots of highlights!
Everything we do, we do from the idea that we want to help all parents take good care of their kids (and the planet), without worries. Doing good is important to us. And that is why we make care products that are good for the skin and have less impact on the planet. Not just for your baby, but also for your baby's baby. That's how we hope to change the industry.
And we don't just look at our ingredients! Our packaging, shipping methods and how we operate at Naïf HQ are also included in our mission to do good. Currently, we are making the switch from bioplastic to recycled plastic for all our packaging, trying to reduce our water consumption, our lunch consists of local products as much as possible and we travel by public transport as much as possible, and we have now launched quite a few refill packs that allow us to save a lot of CO2 on transport.
Responsible to do good
Naïf is B-Corp certified. That’s huge! This means that Naïf is committed to creating a better world when it comes to social impact, responsibility, transparency and sustainability. We are allowed to be a little proud of that. All our sustainable, vegan and contain natural ingredients.
On the outside, all our packaging is plastic-free. Together with the Plastic Soup Foundation, Naïf contributes to the awareness of the effects of plastic on nature. We lovingly contribute to this.
