How to use the new Waterless Refills

Recently we launched our new Waterless Refills. Just as easy, with even more impact. They save* 68% CO2-emissions and 64% plastic packaging material on a yearly basis. You easily combine the refill powders with water to make shampoo, wash gel or bath foam. Want to know how? In this blog we explain it, and what to do if you’ve accidentally made a mistake!
Step by step
With our refill powders you don't have to buy a new tube every time you're empty: you can easily refill your favorite product with lukewarm water. The reusable bottle is designed in signature Naïf-style and even looks good in your bathroom. It also saves CO2 and plastic! Follow our step-by-step guide for the best results.
1. Rinse the bottle with warm water.
2. Fill the empty bottle with lukewarm water up to the line.
3. Add the refill powder and twist the pump on the bottle to close.
4. Shake it up and after 30 minutes it’s ready to use!
5. Regularly reshake the bottle.
Bath and shower
Taking a bath or shower is just as easy with our waterless refills as the rest of our products. The shampoo cleanses and cares for the hair and scalp of your little one - even if they don’t have wild hair. Turn your bath ritual into a party with our bath foam: add the bath foam to the bath under the tap, turn on the tap and mix it together with your hands. To gently cleanse the skin of your mini, use the wash gel in the bathtub or during a shower. All products are safe and gentle for the eyes of your child.
Made a mistake?
Mistakes happen in the chaos of parenthood. No worries, you can still use your refill! Did you spill some of the powder? Try and salvage as much powder as possible and if you’re missing a significant amount, just add less water. If you’ve accidentally added the water before the powder, twist on the pump and shake carefully. Because of the pressure build-up, you might have to air the bottle a few times so there’s enough room for the product.
Pay attention that the water is not too cold or too warm. The powder cannot dissolve in water that’s too cold and your product will not work properly. Too warm water can damage the ingredients and it can take longer before the product achieves the right texture - since the texture is formed at a certain temperature. Hot water is also not recommended for the bottle and can affect the bottle.
