In the sun with your little one? Good idea and nice, but with protection of course. Or naturally protected. Naïf Sunscreen for Baby & Kids SPF50 optimally protects the vulnerable skin of babies and children against UVA and UVB radiation. The sunscreen has a natural filter derived from the mineral zinc oxide (non-nano), which adds a layer on the skin. So the sun's rays are immediately reflected. This makes a natural UV filter very suitable for children with sensitive skin, minimizes a skin reaction and protects immediately. Also nice: the cream is water resistant. So Sun, Sea and Sorry Free. The sunscreen is easy to apply, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a white cast. Yay! This is thanks to natural oils such as olive oil, coconut oil and sunflower oil. Not only good for your skin, but also for the sea. We do advise babies to keep out of the sun as much as possible during the first year. But, of course, it's always possible that your child will come into contact with the sun's rays. That's why Naïf's Sunscreen is also safe to use for the sensitive skin of newborns. What's the difference between SPF30 vs SPF50 Did you know that there's very little difference between factor 30 and factor 50? Factor 30 protects against UV radiation up to 96.6% and SPF50 up to 98%. The difference is in the skin type. The number of SPF determines how long you can sit in the sun before you burn. Where one skin type is pale, burns quickly and hardly or not at all gets a tan, another skin type can take more. All Naïf products are 100% vegan, made with an allergen-free, gentle fragrance and dermatologically tested.
A standard sunscreen may contain ingredients like oxybenzone and octinoxate, as well as microplastics and nanoparticles. This isn't nice for the skin and not for the sea either. Good news, we don't use them in our products! Did you know that in some countries chemical UV filters are even banned?
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Zinc Oxide, Isoamyl Laurate, Stearyl Heptanoate, Hydrogenated Soy Polyglycerides, Candelilla Cera/ Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Stearyl Caprylate, Polyhydroxystearic Acid, Parfum/Fragrance, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, C15-23 Alkane, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil
Apply plenty of sunscreen before your child goes out into the sun. And don't forget: you also need to apply sunscreen in the shade. Apply the sunscreen, every two hours, to the body and face. Spread out. Keep babies and children out of the sun as much as possible.
